Spotify
Spotify's desktop client is the last tile on the screenshot home screen.
Config
entries:
- title: Spotify
subtitle: Music
command: [spotify]
That starts the official Linux client. Login and Playlists stay in Spotify’s own config.
If Spotify is a Flatpak
command: [flatpak, run, com.spotify.Client]
The Flathub id is com.spotify.Client.
Notes
-
The icon is looked up as
Spotify. -
If a Spotify instance is already running, the new command may hand off and exit. Set
restoreOnExit: falsein that case, as with Steam. -
The client is a desktop app, not the TV leanback site. For a browser kiosk instead, use the same pattern as YouTube with
https://open.spotify.com. -
Output is appended to
~/.cache/biscuittin/spotify.log.
