Kodi
Kodi is the living-room media centre: local files, add-ons and live TV. This is the third tile on the screenshot home screen.
Config
entries:
- title: Kodi
subtitle: Films and TV
command: [kodi]
Kodi opens its own full-screen UI.
Libraries, add-ons and the web interface stay in Kodi’s userdata (~/.kodi/).
If Kodi is a Flatpak
command: [flatpak, run, tv.kodi.Kodi]
The Flathub id is tv.kodi.Kodi.
Give that Flatpak access to your media directories if they live outside its home.
Notes
-
The icon is looked up as
Kodi. -
Kodi stays running until you quit it from its menu, so leave
restoreOnExitat the default. -
To force full screen from the command:
command: [kodi, --fullscreen]. -
Some packages install
kodi-standalonefor a session without a desktop. Use that as the command if that is how you run Kodi on the box. -
Output is appended to
~/.cache/biscuittin/kodi.log.
