Preferences and themes
Click your username in the header to open the User Control Panel. That page is yours only. Administrators edit other people under Control Panel → IAM, not here.

My Permissions lists the groups and roles on your account. Children should see only child access.
Preferences
Open User preferences. Language and sidebar are stored on the server. Colour scheme and theme name are stored in this browser.

Themes
StarLoom ships looks that are meant for a family tablet:

Supplemental colour themes (Catppuccin, Dracula, Gruvbox, Waffles) also appear in the list when the app is built with them.
Household default vs personal pick
An administrator sets policy under Control Panel → Settings → Theme:
- User preference (default) — Settings provide the starting theme. Each person can override it on this page.
- System preference — Everyone uses the theme name in Settings. The personal theme dropdown is hidden.
The header light/dark control appears only when Color scheme switcher is on in Settings.
